Homemade Brown Bread

One of life’s essentials. Lovely with the eggs in the morning or to have with soup or a salad at lunch. Make an extra loaf or two and freeze them until you need them
300g extra course wholemeal flour
75g pinhead oatmeal
75g self raising flour
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp bread soda
1 tbsp olive oil
330ml buttermilk
1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
2. Add the olive oil and buttermilk until mixture looks like wet porridge
3. Line tins with oil
4. Spread some sesame seeds on the bottom of the tin and transfer in the mixture
5. Spread pumpkin and sunflower seeds on top
6. Cook in the oven at 200ยฐC for 50 minutes
7. Place on a wire rack to cool
